Affinity start making music in the early sixties. In de early seventies they were the backing band of Mike d’Abo for a while. Mo Foster, Mike Jopp and Grant Serpell recorded some songs and toured the USA with Mike d’Abo. Mo Foster still had the tapes of these recordings which can be heard on Mike’s CD “Hidden Gems … & Treasured Friends” on Angel Air SJPCD 156.

As you can see, Affinity added the Mike d’Abo song “Poor Man’s Son” on the CD, which comes from Mike’s 1972 album “Down At Rachel’s Place”, so all from the same time period.
